there is a clear difference between the two openings of the films, the comedy relies much more on the music and the mise-en-scene to bring together the comical value. whereas the begining of the rom-com focuses mainly on the romance side of things as the dialogue from the women is all talking about the time they spent with the one man and all the things that they have done with him.
